On Friday, January 31 the San Pedro Chapel will be filled with mesmerizing flute music from two master musicians when Gary Strousos and Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos present an evening of sacred world music. Gary Stroutsos will share songs from his 35+ year career and musical travels on cedar Plains flute, Hopi long flute and alto flute. After a brief intermission, Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos will take the stage. Alcvin is a master of the shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) and will transport you to the cloud forests with his ancient sounds. Both will be joined by local musicians to accompany them on flute, clay drums and digeridoo on select songs. Don’t miss these two master flute players together for this rare and intimate performance. Seating is limited to the first 80 to purchase tickets. Check the STORE page of this website to purchase yours.
